I have a photo album on my desk at school with pictures from the operas I did at Lee and the other day a student came in and began to look through it. There you were in all of your glory in El Capitan and it made me miss the good old days. It also made me remember the first time I heard you sing in chapel. I remember it well... I was sitting near the front and on the left (the Lee Singers section if you will) and one of the subwoofers was blocking whoever was singing with that glorious, pure and very natural and unforced voice. Then when the song was over, you stepped from behind the subwoofer and my jaw hit the floor. Up until then I had only heard you sing "legitimately" and I remember gaining a heck of a lot more respect for you as a musician that day. Good times. Who could possibly find your voice grating?!
