Missions 101 Wrap-up and Biblical Worldview

I miss missions 101.  I really enjoyed that class.  Right now I’m working on the final paper.  The teachers gave us the option of taking any topic they brushed upon in class.  I’ve chosen Iranian youth.  I am astounded at their bravery to peacefully protest in such an cruel regime and heartbroken at the deaths of so many young people.  I know I am an adult now but I don’t feel like it and seeing people my age and younger so devoted to change that they would lay down their lives just awes me.  They are searching for truth and longing for hope.  It is my prayer that they find it.

My current class is called Biblical Worldview and it’s not what I expected.  They first day of it was really “Why you should take Genesis literally” and I don’t so that was uncomfortable.  The other days I had trouble following.  The teachers style is not my style of learning so it is hard for me to really absorb information.  At least this week’s big assignment is to write two pages describing the Gospel and the mission of the church.  I can do that even if I remember nothing about the class.
