Memorial Day
We came up to my parents’ for most of the day today. Mom and I went to see “Letters from Juliet”…super cute, we thought! Then we went to Kohl’s and a I got a few new summer items. When we got back, we took the girls to the park.
Kiersten swinging–she pumps her legs and gets herself going very well

Kiandra was frolicking around picking things (and picking up trash)…she brought me this “soft” piece of grass

Kalli and Kiandra went running through the tall grass along the little creek, throwing themselves down in the grass with joyful squeals

Some teeny-tiny flowers Kiandra brought me

The 4 of us…not the best of the girls, but the best one of me haha (you can guess how horrible the others must have been, since this one isn’t great lol)…my mom took this for me

Shoes
I LOVE shoes. Love them. I don’t even know how many pairs I own, and I have to be careful around stores because I could buy a pair every time I’m there.
This is one of my favorite pairs of heals–bought on clearance for $11 a few months ago.

Costumes
My girls love costumes. LOVE them. Today we went bowling and to Wal-mart, with them all in costumes.
They’ve mostly changed out of them, but Kiersten had these Minnie Mouse ears on, and let me take a few pictures of her in the beautiful light as the sun is starting to go down.

Eyes
I love my girls’ eyes, and tonight as we were sitting at dinner the light was shining so nicely in the backyard so I took a few pictures. They weren’t the most cooperative tonight but oh well.

Kalli was being a stinker and trying to put her hand in the picture I was attempting to take of Kiersten:

Animals galore
This morning the girls were all dressed up as animals. I didn’t get a good picture of all three, but Kiersten’s mouse costume included underwear on her head. They’re so silly.
Kiandra was a cat. I was trying to get a couple pictures of her, and this was her done and trying to get down but it looks very cat-like!
Sucker
Kiersten found a sucker in the pantry today, so the girls shared it…sorta.
Kiersten started, and then the other two noticed and had to have some too…

And if Kiandra’s face looks a bit red in that last one, that’s because it was. She had just seconds before been bawling because she wanted some sucker.
And then a minute later, watching thoughtfully as Kiersten cried because Kalli had taken a big bite of the sucker…

Alone time
The girls every once in a while decide they want alone time. I was cleaning the house this morning, and Kiandra went to her room to read. Kalli wanted alone time, but said her room was too messy. I suggested a certain spot and she took a rug there…I thought she was too cute reading in what I think may be a new reading spot.
Trying something new
In order to hopefully blog more often and improve my snapshot-taking skills
I am going to try to blog a picture a day.
Today, we worked in our garden, and the girls were big helpers. Just got the two little ones, but Kiandra was helping too.
