Singing Louder

Welcome to my new blog—Singing Louder!

I first entered the blogosphere in June of 2004, when I created a blog to update friends and family in far-away locations about our little family. Kiandra was just about 1 year old, and I was pregnant with Kalli. I started blogging a lot more the next fall when we moved 2,000 miles away to Texas.

Over the last months my blog has fallen by the wayside. Due to privacy concerns my blog is no longer public, and has very few readers. My family blog was also very family-centered–mostly pictures of the girls and stories about them.

I’m ready to re-enter the blogging world, so here I am. This blog will include stories and pictures of the girls, but I will also (at least attempt to) write about other things on my mind. My mind is a busy place and writing is enjoyable to me…we’ll see what I come up with.

So what does Singing Louder mean? Well, I have become fond of a worship song called “Let Me Sing”…It’s about how our worship for God, our lives, should be louder than creation’s. I look around and see awesome things God made. For instance, I love going to the beach and just watching the waves roll in. It’s amazing, and I see God’s majesty in that. My life, my worship, should be louder than everything else God created…because I know the sacrifice he made for me!

And also, our hosue is always full of music and singing as well as just…loudness! It seemed like a fitting name for a new blog!

So, welcome! I hope to post more soon…but be patient!
