“How He Loves” by David Crowder Band
I will, at some point soon, get on with the original purpose of this blog- to record our family’s homeschool activities and catalog pictures to share. But, I heard this song on the radio for the first time the other day and was completely blown away. I had to share it with someone.
I hope it blesses you today.
It is called “How He Loves” and is sung by the David Crowder Band. Apparently, it is a remake, but I have not ever heard the original version.
What amazing imagery is in these lyrics.
“If His grace is an ocean, we are all sinking!”
Amen. Take a minute to close your eyes and listen to this song. Allow the words to wash over you and bathe in His love for you today.

Welcome and Selah!
I originally started this blog as a way to record and share what our family is doing and learning through our homeschool. “SELAH Academy” is the official name I chose for our school when I registered with the state. Choosing the name that might possibly be printed on my children’s diplomas, were we to continue down this path, was a daunting one to say the least.
I wanted a name that was more official sounding than “Our Last Name Homeschool” , but that was identifiable as ours. I also wanted a name that would embody our philosophies of life and education.
Our last name begins with the letter ‘S’, and on the simplest level, “SELAH” is an acronym for “S________’s Educational Living at Home”
The word “Selah” occurs about 37 times in the book of Psalms,. It points to what is most likely an interlude in the middle of a song. During the break, the one listening or playing should stop and reflect, taking the time to understand what they have just listened to and Praise Him whom the song is about. May that always be true of our home and occur daily in our school.
